Layla Pouliot, CPA, CPM, joined Spear Management Group in 2008 as Controller and has over 20 years of experience in the property management field.
Layla was promoted to Vice President in 2019 and to Senior Vice President in 2021. She is now responsible for the leadership of Spear Management Group, Inc. AMO® and our northern residential market and affordable properties. Her experience as Controller within the organization, education and passion for quality has allowed her to develop staff at each location, focus on streamlining operations in every department and maintaining diligent oversite. Under her vision, Spear Management Group has taken impeccably run legacy properties and challenged her team to continue to strive for excellence and grow.
She began her property management career with Northland Investment Corporation, where she was the Financial Manager, responsible for financial reporting and analysis for both commercial and residential properties and she played an integral part of converting the accounting software, setting up a new cash management system and establishing polices and procedures to standardize the department. Layla also worked with Taymil Partners, where she honed her skills by developing the accounting department from the ground up. Layla received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts and her Masters of Business Administration degree from Nichols College, is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Property Manager.
