Diane M. Andes, CPM, joined Spear Management Group in 1986 and is currently a Senior Advisor to Spear Management Group. As the Chief Operating Officer, Diane was responsible for management of the corporation as well as performance on the property management contracts in place on each of the limited partnerships within the portfolio. Diane had full P&L responsibility in addition to development and implementation of property management policies and functions, investor relations and reporting, staff selection and retention, site construction efforts in both the planning and execution in addition to owner recapitalization programs involving all of the Spear-GP properties. Ms. Andes brings over 35 years of direct property management experience.
She is a Certified Property Manager (CPM), an active member of the Institute of Real Estate Management as well as a founding member of the Property Management Section of the National Association of Realtors. Prior to her employment with Spear Management, she was the Regional Vice President of First Columbia Management, Inc., where she managed a portfolio of 5,650 units of investment real estate within a multi-state region. She is skilled in financial analysis, rental property marketing and management and property recapitalization. Ms. Andes is active in industry educational programs and holds membership in such groups as the National Apartment Association, the Boston Rental Housing Association, the Maine Housing Manager’s Association, The New England Association of Housing Management, National Assisted Housing Management Association, as well other real estate investment, development and management professional associations.
