Hathaway Farms Townhomes is an 18-acre rental residential community located in the City of Northampton, Massachusetts.  The property consists of 26 buildings totaling 207 units; a combination of one, two, three and four-bedroom townhomes. The property is just minutes from downtown Northampton and part of the broader “Knowledge Corridor” of New England which has a dense concentration of 29 colleges and universities.

The buildings were all constructed in 1972 by The Spear Group. Today, an affiliate of The Spear Group acts as the general partner of the partnership that owns the asset, and Spear Management Group, an Accredited Management Organization (AMO), acts as property manager.  Significant capital improvements have been made over the years. Apartments received updating including new kitchens and baths, new carpeting, completion of exterior canopies and other structural components, and other general interior updates.  Ownership recently began creating newly renovated apartments featuring upgraded kitchen appliances and countertops, and exterior private patios for residents.  In addition to the residential buildings, there is one leasing office/management office centrally located within the property.
